Summary: Ieyasu lived the majority of his life convinced that it was a singular experience and certain things could never be done again. He was not aware of how many of his pleasures would be numbered. And so he would live once- and never again.

NOTE: This fic is incompleted mostly because I left it alone for too long and had no idea where to start up again. There's a messy three and a half parts out of five completed, if you could even call the half a true half. But this is here because Kosy wanted to read it and I genuinely don't mind the first two parts, but I'm sad I could give it the finish it deserves. Alas, I tried.
